137 Beachwalk Villa Steps To The Beach

The box on deck for beach toys was empty and disgusting.Pillows leave a lot to be desired. 2nd bedroom mattresses were poor.

WE were very pleased with unit 137 Beachwalk, the furnishings were comfortable, there was plenty of space, clean kitchen with useful tools for cooking. The walk to the beach was less than 10 mins and the outside deck was comfortable.

Overall, it was an okay villa but older than appears in pictures. They have tried to update. The shower curtain liner in master bath was dirty and moldy. The light in the hall bathroom wasn't working. At first, we couldn't get the TV sound to work but was able to eventually figure it out (different than anything seen before). It would be helpful to have notes on that. The place has a musty smell. They did provide ample towels, beach towels and chairs, which was good.

This place wasn’t bad for the location. Walking distance to the beach and convenient to have beach chairs and wagon. The disappointing aspect was the grill did not work, was only provided one thing of paper towels for a week stay. The doors to the washer and dryer were also missing and so it was super loud doing laundry. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. Behind the nightstands in the primary there was a capsule of a supplement maybe, a tobacco container, and Kleenex. Sent a message at check-in, with a photo, and never heard back from the hosts. The place wasn’t bad but just disappointed in the cleanliness and unresponsiveness.

The apartment is spacious, the pool was nice, and the location close to the beach is definitely a plus. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. The mattress was of very poor quality and uncomfortable. When we raised this issue, the host initially refused to acknowledge the condition and then agreed to replace it, but the process was handled extremely poorly and not professionally managed . Communication was slow, defensive, and not constructive, which made even simple concerns hard to resolve. In the end, rather than working toward a fair solution, we were asked to leave early in exchange for only a partial refund which we never got until Airbnb stepped in. This left us feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied. Overall, while the apartment itself has potential, the way concerns were managed did not meet basic standards of hospitality. Thankfully HHI has plenty of other options to offer next time we visit.

We were satisfied with our accomodations. It was clean and well stocked. The pool is close (just across the parking lot) & the path to the beach is accessible & shaded.

There were 3 of us staying - plenty of room - very spacious layout and bedrooms. Clean with all the amenities for cooking. The deck has a nice view, but there was a lot of debris from the squirrels in the trees - no control over that though! Pool Area was great. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach on a great stretch with lifeguards during peak season. Bike to Coligny in 10 minutes. We would stay here again and recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at 137 Beachwalk! It was such a safe and secure environment with a guard at each entrance making sure guests had a tag. The villa was beautiful and exactly as pictured. It was the perfect space for my family. It had everything you needed, and if you needed to get to the grocery store- it was about 5 minutes down the road. The pool was right across the parking lot, and the beach was about a 6-7 minute easy walk. There was also everything you would need for the beach as well. There was a beach cart and beach chairs so we didn’t even need the ones we brought. I would definitely book again. If you are looking to stay in Hilton head, look no further- this is the perfect place!

The Beachwalk condo was great for our family of three. The walk to the beach was easy for myself and two boys (8 and 10). The condo was nicely appointed and had all we needed. Shipyard is centrally located on the island making it easy to get to restaurants, entertainment, groceries, etc. We enjoyed a day of golf at Shipyard, days at the beach, and evening walks around the plantation. I will say there are a lot of stairs to take to get inside the condo which makes loading/unloading luggage and groceries a bit of a hassle. It wasn’t a huge deal for us but if someone had mobility issues it would be. (Noting because I was sure I’d read this was a first floor condo, but maybe I’m mistaken. Either way, it is definitely a second floor condo.) Also, the parking area gets quite tight. Our last night we were forced to park pretty far away which made loading our car the morning we left more difficult. Again, just an inconvenience for us but would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. :)

We loved our stay here and would stay again! Host was responsive and check-in was easy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The pool was right across the parking lot and the beach was just over a block away, an easy walk.

We LOVED the location. All communications were clear and helpful. The place is very nice, but living area furniture and the mattresses need to be updated. The mattresses have been maximally utilized and new mattresses and pillows would benefit the home greatly. Very nice place, just needs a little money spent on necessities and it would be perfection! Thanks we truly enjoyed our stay but as my husband reiterated as we were driving home, he sure is ready to sleep on a comfortable mattress tonight.

We loved 137 Beachwalk ! Very clean, comfortable and had all the beach amenities you can think of ! We were able to get in the unit early when we arrived, which we very much appreciated. The pool was kept sparkling clean and the beach was a short walk. We have been enjoying HHI for 20 years and this villa is definitely a favorite !

My husband, 3 yr old daughter and I loved our stay. We live in Savannah and come to the beach often but decided to stay over night a few nights for a mini Easter vacation. The condo is located in a perfect area for our family. Everything from the beach, restaurants, parks “pirate ship park” are accessible by walking or bike. No meltdowns and truly a peaceful weekend. The condo itself was quiet and clean, we had zero complaints. Any and all questions were answered right away and honestly felt like they wanted to make our stay as easy as possible. We look forward to making this part of our vacation routine.

Very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, tons of counter space. We like to cook so a comfortable two person kitchen was important. The weather was unseasonably cold so we didn't get a chance to use the deck area but it was a nice area. The huge trees and 2nd floor view of the golf course made it feel like we were in a tree house. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Carolina Coast's villa stole our hearts! The tranquil environment – think swaying palms, golf course, ponds and chirping birds – was balm to our city souls. And when we needed anything, Carolina Coast was there in a flash – responsive and helpful hosts made us feel truly looked after. The villa itself was a haven of comfort. It felt like a home away from home, stocked with all the amenities we could need to cook, relax, and entertain. Plus, the little touches, like fluffy beach towels and books, showed they care about creating a perfect guest experience. Was it worth it? Absolutely! Carolina Coast delivered relaxation, stunning scenery, and a memorable stay. We highly recommend this villa and the hosts.
