Direct Beach Path Pool Near The Salty Dog Cafe

We had the best time in this house! The pool was nice and walk to the beach was perfect! My 8yo grandson keep a list of all the animals we saw on our trip and we were surprised how many we saw. We usually go to Seaside Fl, but Hilton Head is our new go to! Thanks for a great memory making trip!

This was our first family college spring break trip as our two kids are now both in college. The accommodations were ideal for our family. We enjoyed games nights while also giving the kids space (to look at their phones). The beach access was just steps away for morning walks so that worked out perfectly (as long as you remember the walkway marking on the beach lol ). I would highly recommend this property.

This house was amazing for a weekend and was able to accommodate 10 adults in my party. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and the location feels mostly private. The house has a wonderful layout and unique character. The host was helpful and very responsive. We had one minor maintenance issue that was discussed and resolved to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this place!

5 Bald Eagle Sea Pines HH is a beautiful home and well appointed, there were 6 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room to meet and or separate the location is perfect with an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, the pool was ideal for the kiddos to play in and located so adults can see from several locations! The area is beautiful with lots of opportunities for cycling, walking, eating, drinking etc. we hope to return again for the most part the home is exactly as described!

My family has vacation in Sea Pines for close to 30 years . This years home in Sea Pines is the first time my daughters and their families agreed they would like book this same house next year. The size , layout and location accommodate our growing family perfectly . The plumbing upstairs needs attention and parking with three vehicles is challenging, but other than that it is PERFECT . Thank you to the owners and the protect management company.

We had a great time at Sea Pines Resort. The house was perfect for our family. The location of the beach from the house was a 5 minute walk, and the privacy of the houses and beach were great! We highly recommend this house for a family vacation of 6 adults, 3 children ages 5, 3 and 3 and an infant just under 1 year old.

Nice location, main level of house updated. 5 star master on first floor. 2 level in need of updates. Poor lighting in all bedrooms, carpet needs replaced stained and very dirty. Pool area nice space, but dirty. Front porch in need of a power wash and garage door did not lock. Management charged $500 to heat the pool, and in the homeowners description it states “no Heated” pool. Called management and they removed the charge. If updates and clean up are made if would be a more inviting space.

We come to Sea Pines every year, and always stay at a home with a pool and within 3-4 houses of the beach. In terms of location, this home was perfectly situated -a very easy walk to the beach. That was correct. However, unfortunately, that was the best thing. There were many broken items in the house (blinds were broken, wooden slats were missing), it wasn't fully cleaned (dirty hair in multiple baths - particularly in the one where I had planned to bathe the baby, which was disgusting). Some areas had been re-done (like the primary bedroom bath), while others were entirely dilapidated. Most disappointing, was how the management responded when we had an issue. We called them to heat the pool (I had thought it was heated beforehand, since it referenced a "spa/hot tub" in the description), but never specifically REQUESTED this. I called as we were headed there - and was told they would call the owners to ask (I told them i would pay ALL fees for this) and call me back. NO call. We get to the home - the pool is FREEZING (it's shaded). My kids (who do swim team, used to cold pools) even hated it. I contacted management - and received the most curt, most unpleasant response possible. No "we're sorry it's cold" even...just downright officious. We spent the week avoiding the pool - which is unfortunate, given that we rented it with that being half the purpose, and never bothered to contact management again, as I now knew how to expect their responses.

The house is very spacious and updated and easily fit 11 of us kids and adults. Clean and comfy. There were some issues with the house and the property manager responded quickly.

5 bald Eagle has had a nicely done renovation. Good living spaces and nicely arranged kitchen space. However,other than good dishes and flatware,the kitchen furnishings were minimal and not very organized. The dining table seated our 8 but definitely needs a rug as chairs scrape the floor. Two king rooms with good bathrooms. The other three were tiny with tinier baths. Linens need updating and mattresses need improved. Outside the entire home needs a good pressure washing. Patio furniture is in poor shape. There are no potted plants and very few maintained shrubs. It would be nice to have a table for eating outside. The grill was filthy but once we got it scraped and burned off it worked fine. This house has good potential and a short walk to ocean. It just needs some attention.

We had a great time at 5 Bald Eagle! Our entire family, 12 total (8 adults and 4 toddlers), fit very comfortably. The location being close to South Beach (Salty Dog Cafe) and only 4 rows back from the ocean with a pool and direct access to the beach path made our stay very convenient. The house was very well equipped with all necessary kitchen supplies and ample storage space for large groups. Some minor areas of the house need repair (a few window blinds are missing rods that help hold the blinds closed) but that damage may have happed with the guests right before us. Nonetheless, the house is beautiful, the location wonderful and overall a great place for a larger family or group to convene for vacation. Thanks for a great time!

We had such a good time in this spacious house! We love to cook in and enjoyed the large kitchen and the nice new bar and Ice maker. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good combination for us. The shower in the second master was not working when we arrived but the manager had it fixed within 24 hours. Thanks - Great stay!

We stayed for a long weekend for a wedding with our family. The location was great being so close to the beach. The one shower in the bunk room did not have hot water but since our stay was shorter we just used another shower. There was plenty of room with a large kitchen but it was not stocked very well. It also appeared that someone had brought their pet as there was pet hair on the couches etc. Overall because of its location and number of bedrooms we’d rate it a 4.

We rented this house for the July 4, 2022 week. We arrived on Friday and everything seemed great. We were ready for a great week in a great house. Boy, were we wrong!! On Saturday we realized that the trash had not been collected from the previous week, and it smelled terrible outside the front door. Saturday evening a significant leak started in the first-floor laundry room ceiling. The property manager arrived Saturday night to discover the third-floor A/C unit was not operating correctly and causing the leak due to condensation, or so he thought. An HVAC tech was called in on Sunday to correct the problem. On Monday, the leak reappeared and was worse. We thought the ceiling in the laundry was going to cave in. Another phone call to the property manager. Three hours later on Monday evening, we were told "things are better". Then Tuesday morning came. The A/C on the third floor stopped working overnight. Another call to the property manager. The garbage had still not been picked up and it absolutely wreaked outside. On Tuesday, we had on the schedule to visit us during our vacation an HVAC tech, a plumber, the general contractor of the house, and the property manager. HVAC came at 1:00pm when the thermostat read 81, and said he had it fixed. At 4:00pm, the thermostat read 88 degrees. The A/C was not fixed. While at dinner on Tuesday night, the property manager came by with the general contractor and an HVAC tech. The A/C was finally fixed 4 days after our arrival. The contractor located the source of the leak and had to shut a bathroom shower down for the remainder of our stay. The leaking had gotten bad enough to where it soaked the carpets in two of the bedrooms only to leave a musty and mildew smell for the remainder of our stay. Wednesday arrived and finally after 5 nights we had an air-conditioned 2nd and 3rd floor, the garbage was finally collected, one shower out of operation, and wet/mildew smelling bedroom carpets. It seemed to us that our stay in this house was less than desirable. We only rented the house for 8 nights, and had 8-9 visits by contractors of different kinds, leaks, no A/C for several days, mildew carpet, and leftover garbage.

One of the master suites had an inoperable shower, so the rental company told my sister in or share with teenage girls or a couple of guys. No sorry, no compensation, just this is the way it is. In my suite, the toilet ran, you had to wait until you could jiggle the handle. Slats on one of the windows were broken and allowed neighbors light to shine in our room. Also did not realize the difference between a "spa" and a " hot tub". Thought we were getting a hot tub,,not sure it is clearly described, might be something you should do in house description. Good house, good pool, great location. Been to HHI many times , not sure I will deal with this management company again.

We loved this property! With two master suites, two spacious living rooms and a brand new, remodeled kitchen and bar area, this was the perfect house for our multi family vacation to HHI. The house is steps from the beach and has a beautiful pool and spa that the kids absolutely loved. Plenty of beach toys and chairs at the property as well. Management was wonderful to work with and even left us a charcuterie board and bottle of wine for our stay! Top notch!

House is a very short walk to the beach down a private path. The open kitchen and den are a great hangout spot. PLENTY of room. Bedrooms were large and beds were comfy.
