Heart of Coligny Walk to the Park Shops Beach

We had such a great time staying here in Hilton Head! It was perfect for our family of 4 with two small children. There is a pack n play already there which was perfect so we didn’t need to take 2. Shops, restaurants and the beach were all within a short walking distance, which was so fun and convenient. We would love to come back to stay!

This property was exactly what we were looking for when we initially started planning. There was plenty of space, it was clean, and it was easy to get ahold of the property managers. We enjoyed the week here and ate every meal outside on the patio as we always managed to catch the perfect breeze. My children were able to share the guest room comfortably and loved it. My husband and I agreed that the bed in the master was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. It was definitely soft and supportive. Having everything super close was convenient as we were able to walk just about everywhere. The park next to the property is definitely geared more toward littler kids but it was super cute and there’s a place across the street from there to get some beignets which my kids loved. The beach and shopping were all simple to access by walking with tons of restaurant options nearby. We are definitely going to look at booking here again.

We loved the Condo building, including its close proximity to Coligny Beach, Celebration Park and other amenities on Hilton Head Island. We felt very much at home in this spacious unit, which was very clean and had all needed amenities. The neighbours were very friendly. The underground parking was a bonus as were the tennis courts. We rented bicycles for our 3-week stay and toured the many kilometers of awesome bike trails, including in the amazing Sea Pines area. It's also an easy ride on the beach when the wind is at your back. We will definitely return to the South Forest Beach Condos.

Perfect location with kids. Pool on site. Easy walk across the street to beach. Easy walk to park with awesome playground. Multiple restaurants and places to get ice cream and treats that are walkable too. Property was clean and had everything we needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this 2 bedroom roomy family get away apt. It had a nice balcony that we sat out on for breakfast everyday. We walked or biked to restaurants and enjoyed being so close to the beach. Everything was convenient and the apt was very cozy and clean. They had beach chairs, a foldable wagon, beach toys and other items you could bring to the beach. We highly recommend this location and apt.

We’ve stayed in this building in the past, which is in a wonderful location. It’s close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We like the underground parking for the car and our bikes. This unit is well equipped and spacious, with everything in good working order. It’s nicely decorated and the master bed was very comfortable. The building is showing some wear-and-tear and this unit is as well. The carpet in the master bedroom is stained and the furniture has a number of scuff marks. The kitchen and bathroom could benefit from a deep clean of tiles, drains, etc. (The overflow drain in the master bathroom sink has built up grime). Property management was responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely return to this location in the future.

Our family of 4 stayed here for our first time on the island. The best thing about this rental is its location. We loved the short walk to the beach, as well as Coligny Plaza. The layout of the unit was great and perfect for our family. The kitchen provided all of the essentials (even salt & pepper, ziplocs, tin foil, and cooking spray). We also enjoyed the boogie boards and beach chairs provided. We enjoyed the pool area. Small amounts of toiletries were provided but not enough for a week stay. A few drawbacks were the cleanliness of the unit - dirty floor and some stains on the master bedroom sheets. The patio only had 3 chairs and looked out onto the parking lot. It also had a small hornet's nest so sadly, we didn't get to take advantage of the outdoor space. No beach towels were provided which was a bummer. The king bed was not comfortable - way too soft for our taste - we need more support! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we loved the island!

Great location, short walks to beach and restaurants. The only negative to the condo was the mattress in the king room, was worn out and lumpy. We slept in the single beds.

Overall, the place is great. It has everything you need. The kitchen was well equipped and the comfort level was great. The bathrooms were very clean and were stocked with plenty of towels. It was a short walk to Coligny, which was great for the kids. The only downfall was cleanliness of the the bedrooms and living area. We did have to run the vacuum due to sand and food crumbs on the floor. We found clothing tags and food under the bed, under the couches, and in the drawers. It was an easy clean up for us, but was not expected. Overall, we would stay here again.

The condo was very clean, quiet, and close to beach. No problems entering the residence. Everything was clean and in working condition. Walk across street to Coligny Beach and Shopping. No need for a vehicle everything you need is in walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay in the South Forest Beach condo. It was a clean, updated and spacious unit and worked out great travelling with our two kids, 2 and 6 years old. The master bed was large and comfy and the boys were excited to share the other bedroom. We liked the large walk-in shower in the master bed and appreciated still having a bathtub in the other bathroom. The kitchen had most cooking equipment you need, just make a note to bring everything you need, including condiments, s&p etc. There are several convenient grocery stores nearby. This condo is right across the street from the Coligny beach, an easy walk to both the beach and the plaza, where you can find coffee, restaurants, stores and the best ice cream spots! Very popular with our little ones. Coligny beach does get super crowded though and if you are anything like us and trying to socially distance while out, it may prove to be difficult as other people weren't as socially responsible and would set up right on top of you. Do yourself a favor and walk down the street to the other beach access to the right, much less crowded and we felt more comfortable there. The pool was very convenient and our boys loved it, never got too crowded and there are even bathrooms at the pool. My only complaint is that smoking is allowed at the pool and we had people light up cigarettes right next to our kids. Also, some folks refused to wear masks in the small elevator. Obviously these are minor issues that wouldn't even be an issue if people were just a bit more considerate. Overall a great experience, would definitely stay here again. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, our son even left his bag pack and Jackie was so helpful in mailing it out to us.

This lovely villa was perfect for our family. Our teenage daughters had own room with separate beds and bathroom. Our king bed was very comfortable and liked the access to the balcony from all rooms. It was just a short walk to the beach. The beach got pretty busy by afternoon but we would head back to the pool which was not. Overall great stay!

The property was exactly as described and located right by the Coligny shops and beach. We had a problem with our air conditioning and Bob came within 10 minutes and placed a call to have it fixed. He was great to work with. Will definitely come back to this condo.

We’ve been coming to HHI for over 25 years. This condo is the perfect place. It has all the comforts of home, but a first class vacation feel. It is truly within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach!

My family and I only stayed for 3 days but enjoyed every second! The condo was already booked after us or we would have extended our trip. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean, the beds were also very comfortable. We thought there was a walking path that took you straight to the beach that was across the street but we weren't able to find it, so we just entered beach at the Coligny entrance which was still fine! We would definitely stay again!

We had a great experience! Everything was as described. Condo was clean and in good shape. Had a few questions and always received responses very quickly. The location is great. Definitely could walk to the beach and the Coligny area shops and restaurants. Appreciated the wagon to transport our beach gear. Very happy with our stay.
