Inverness Villa on Golf Course with Pool Tennis

Two couples drove two days (ugh) and were greeted by this great townhome right off the golf course. We don’t golf. But we DO play tennis and pickleball and the 4 minute drive to Palmetto Dunes Tennis and Pickleball centre made this a great spot. Also, the free tennis courts just around the corner were great. This condo could use a little updating, but all in all it was the perfect place for a one week stay. Lots of space, big bedrooms, large living area and comfy seating. So nice to be able to walk out onto the deck. We had a few issues and they were addressed super promptly. Also a 5 minute drive to the beach and it is a stunning beach!!! Just be forewarned there is no salt or pepper or sugar etc, so come prepared. Which we did, except for the salt and pepper lol. All in all it’s a 4.5 out of 5! We loved our stay.

The property was very nice and in a great location. Customer service was excellent. We did utilize the Dunes transportation which made getting to the beach a piece of cake. Hilton Head is definitely a family favorite and we will be coming back for many years to come.

Perfect location for our annual golfing outing to Hilton Head, close enough to all facilities, restaurants and bars yet far enough off the main highways to chill out at night. Would stay there again

We just returned from a fall break trip. We loved this rental. The key points…lots of space! Beautiful views, big bedrooms, bath for each bedroom and updates done to the rental. The rental was close to pool, tennis and beach access and an easy bike ride to the Palmetto General Store. My teens were able to bike and walk to tennis, beach without much supervision. They had a great time walking up to the tennis court on their own. Rent bikes if you aren’t bringing your own! Also, an instruction book was left for operating Tv which was very helpful.

Very nice house, comfortable, spacious, and the location is wonderful. Perfect for the kids to rent bikes and be on their way around Palmetto Dunes. Easy access to the beach, and tennis/golf.

This was our first stay in Hilton Head, we had a lovely time. It was my family of 5 (kids 13,12 and 9months), and my mother and father-in-law. We comfortably fit in the villa. We had a beautiful patio that backed up to the golf course. Kitchen was well stocked with a lot of utensils, dishes and cookware. TVs in every room, extra bedding and basic bathroom soaps. There is a wagon, 4 beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels, which is great for the beach. . I felt from other VRBO homes we have stayed at this was well stocked and had a lot more than the average rental which was really nice. Location wise was great- close to the pool and a quick ride/ bike to the beach. We were able to get around easily. My older boys loved biking to the beach (especially early evening and biking on the beach). We got bikes right in Palmetto Dunes, which was so convenient. I did find a long slithery bug in my bed the first night, which really gave me a bad feeling. We also woke up to a cockroach in our living room- however I know they mentioned they have monthly pest control and honestly didn’t bother us all that bad. Bugs are bound to be around and we got over it. The only other issue was the pool was closed due to poor swimming conditions (too much sunscreen in the salt water pool.) That was disappointing and surprised it wasn’t better maintained given the amount of rentals. Overall a really nice stay- would recommend to others!

This house was outstanding! The layout was great and all rooms were large, allowing for ample space for all to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, plates, cooking utensils, etc. There was a small table in the kitchen and also a dining room table that accommodated our group of 7 people. If we had more time during the day, we would have enjoyed sitting outside on the deck to enjoy peace and quiet overlooking the golf course. We will definitely rent this place again when we are back in Hilton Head.

My only concern is that the water pressure in bathrooms was very low. Please work on that. it will be perfect

Just a couple of things that could have been improved on 1) cleaning crew could have done a better job-kitchen counter was sticky and multiple kitchen utensils have been put away after washing but were still dirty 2) several little things broken-drawer upstairs bathroom, a few burned out lights. 3) If you have a large party, there is not much comfortable seating in living room. Overall, there were no negatives that outweighed the positives for this rental!! We had a great time for our first trip back to Hilton Head in 8 years. We remembered why we loved it the last time.

We've stayed in several units in Inverness Village and this was our favorite so far. It's a great layout for our family, we love the mini courtyard area for storing bikes, and communication with the property manager was excellent. We'll definitely be checking the availability of this unit for our future Hilton Head trips.

Home away from home getaway. We come to HHI every year and have stayed at this villa with many years with previous ownerships. There is many updates, clean and has everything you need in kitchen. Management was very prompt with feedback with couple things. You can be guaranteed a great vacation while staying in this villa. A short bike ride to beach, plenty of nearby shopping, and Shannon Tanner shows across street @ Shelter Cove have returned!! Kids and adults will thoroughly enjoy! You won’t be disappointed with your stay.

The online photos accurately represent the property. The condo is very spacious and comfortable, walking distance to the beach, pool and tennis courts a bonus. We would stay here again.

The condo was nice however big stains on carpet in master bedroom as well as sink on the left in master bath backing up. The fan in master bedroom did not work so it got pretty toasty up there at night. A few updates needed and the bug man should pay a visit.
