Oceanfront Sunrises in Upgraded Seaside Villa 225

The View was great! Problems: 1- I had to re-clean the floors/patio. Both sweep and mop. They were filthy. 2- Screen door on patio needs WD 40 or new door. Every opening was like a screeching owl. 3- Pics in ad are deceptive. You actually walk into the only bedroom from the front door Ad picture not clear. 4- Ad says it sleeps 6. Only sleeps 4.. 5- I had to vacuum crusty things from the foldway bed. 6- Patio furniture could use some paint, new pads or replacement. Had to sweep balcony as well to stop tracking dirt in. Appliances all worked well. 8- Bed uncomfortable-lumpy (I know this is subjective). Good supply of linens and towels. Summary: For the amount of I paid a disappointment. I've stay at the Palmetto area and paid a little more for a vastly superior stay. Will stick to the Northern beach area next time.

We have rented 225 before so when we saw the unit had been upgraded we booked it again and were not disappointed. The upgrades were spot on and everything very clean. The view from the balcony of the ocean and sunrises is spectacular and never gets old. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of beach equipment with beach wagon made beach time a breeze. This location is perfect with an easy walk or bike ride to Coligny beach, shopping, and great restaurants. This unit met all our needs and will definitely stay here again.

Property was good. Loved the starter kit. Kitchen was missing some crucial tools (like a sharp knife). Hallway light was too dim to be of service. Using a dimmer switch would light when needed and nite lite when needed. Dishes on top shelf of cabinets were not reachable and no foot stool was provided.

Wake up to waves is in a great location! Not only is ocean front with direct secure access to the beach, it is also within walkable location to great shops and restaurants at Coligny Plaza. The unit is perfect for us as a couple with one bed/bath and we loved spending the end of the day sitting on the private balcony listening to the peaceful sounds of the Atlantic. The only slight negative is that it can get loud with the unit above you and the stair access is outside the bedroom window. Other than that, I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay again!

The condo was just what I expected. We loved the view. The kitchen had all I needed to cook. We enjoyed the grill that was down off the parking lot. The beach access was good. The lounge chairs in the yard and the swing were nice. The welcome bag was appreciated. Bed was good. We would stay here again. The bathroom sink was a special bowl that poured the water in off a disc. It was a little high for me but no big deal. We had all the lonen and towels we needed. Balconybwas perfect.

The property managers did a wonderful job communicating all important updates, including the parking lot resurfacing, gate codes for the 3 different doors. On-site, the rules were clearly posted and the condo was clean.

We love this villa for the direct ocean view of morning sunrises, dolphin watching and an easy walk to the beach. The convenient location so close to Coligny Circle provides easy access to various restaurants, shops, Centennial park, and so much more. Very clean and well appointed which provided a delightful experience. We will definitely be booking 225 Seaside for our visit next year.

It would have been nice to have had an extended stay discount. Other similar units in the same building do give a discount. Otherwise, a good stay. The couch needs a goodprofessional cleaning, replace the bedroom dresser, current one is a joke (missing handels, stiff operation,worn out) the view is the big asset. Charlie

We have stayed in this complex several times before and found this unit one of the more updated ones. Kitchen well stocked but did not cook during our time. Fans in all the rooms- including the bathroom- which is important due to the set up of these units. The airflow is always an issue in these units. This one did come with an additional fan which was helpful to have in the hallway with the bunk beds. There were 4 sets on the balcony which was also nice and they provided additional beach towels.

I have booked through Virbo many many times and never been disappointed, but this time I was very disappointed. After a long 10 hour drive and excited to o finally arrive I walked into this condo and saw how dirty everything was I broke down into tears.

The location of the property was perfect. Beautiful viewing the ocean from the balcony. As far as the unit, It was small. Perfect for 2 adults. The unit itself needs a good thourough cleaning. It’s a great location..Housekeeping needs to do better. AC unit is very loud and has dirt stuck to the vents. There was hair in the shower when we arrived. The TV is difficult to operate with no instructions. Location is great but there’s plenty of other places to stay

The view from the balcony and location was the best part. Upon entering the unit we were disappointed by the miss communication of a washer and dryer in unit. It’s not inside the unit, but down two hallways and is used by everyone on the second floor. This should be communicated on listing. The bedspreads and couch are filthy with stains. I would look into a different cleaning company. We had to clean off the 1/2 in of dust before using the ceiling fans. There is only a small wall air conditioner in the front of the unit and it does not cool off the bed room or bunk area. The curtains have a rusted 3 in water stain all the way across. This unit to be so much better if it was deep cleaned. I get it’s the beach but I believe your cleaning crew is doing the bare minimum.

The location and unit were as advertised, a great view of the ocean and access to the beach. The air conditioning unit was noisy and unable to cool the bedroom. The bathroom towels and bed linens were terrible, cast offs from the Salvation Army.

The view was magnificent! This is a nicely updated unit and very clean. There were plenty of towels including beach towels. There was no bedding for the pull-out sofa and the air conditioning was very loud and couldn’t keep the bedroom cool.

We chose unit 225 for its direct OCEAN view, easy access to the boardwalk, ocean, the wall separating the bedroom from the rest of the unit, and location to Coligny Plaza. I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars because the unit is in rough condition. The sofa is old, worn & the cushions are saggy. Someone punched a hole in one of the doors, the patch is very obvious, and the door should have been replaced. The bedsheets and pillows are terrible. The bed pillow are stained because they don't have pillow covers (just pillow cases) and are sooo gross!!!! The sheets are super cheap and very scratchy. The bath towels and beach towels are fine. The bar height table and stools are uncomfortable, the cushions don't fit the seat, are torn and there is no where to rest your feet either on the stools or table. It is unfortunate that the Owners don't invest in maintaining the unit and have no proud of ownership. The unit is in a great location & has amazing Ocean views! Knowing this I would stay again.

When we pulled the couch out to get ready for bed, there were food crumbs inside so we were not able to use it. When stripping the bedding upon leaving, as asked, I noticed that the pillows were stained and dingy. I don't expect the pillows to be brand new but these were used for a very long time and that made all of us feel uneasy. Other than these things, the condo was fine. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and is close to a lot of tourist places to shop, eat and visit.

This was the first time I've been back to HHI since my wife passed away a year ago. We came to the island annually for about 15 years and had stayed in this unit before. It was clean and comfortable. Sitting out on the patio to watch the sunrise was peaceful. I will return every year!

Loved staying here! You can walk to the Beach, & also to Coligny Plaza where there are many shops, restaurants, & a Piggly Wiggly Grocery store! Had a nice view of the ocean, which was great for morning walks!
