Oceanfront Sunrises on Mitchelville Beach

This spot checked all the boxes for us! It was peaceful and had a lovely view of the ocean. We could relax in the mornings on the deck and enjoy lovely sunrises. Walks on the beach were literally steps away. We enjoyed our time there tremendously.

We have stayed at the property where this condo is in the past. This condo was wonderful. Great view of the ocean. Very clean and nicely updated. Kitchen was well stocked and other things like towels were all provided. The property has two nice pools and great beach access to the sound. We had a great time and will be back!

It was a very nice place. Everything looked well kept and was clean. The starter supplies was a nice touch, did not have to buy a whole bunch more to finish out the week. Having a washer and dryer was great. There are more the enough pillows for the bed, which was very comfortable. Loved the balcony overlook of the beach and ocean. Liked laying in the hammock or setting in the swing listening to the ocean waves. All the activities and shopping is very close and convenient. The booking, handling, and communications of the reservation was very straight forward, convenient, professional and personal It was a great getaway/family reunion, to bad the stay was not a bit longer.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Hilton Head. Awesome views of the sunrise right from the deck/living room area! Condo was clean and in a convenient location to everything the island has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean place, thoughtful touches…This was a healing place to stay. The ocean view and sounds right out on the patio was worth it alone. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Carolina Coast

Staying here was a treat. We wondered how the beach would be compared to an ocean beach. This has more variety of natural things to observe close up as you walk. Low tide here exposes much more area to explore, and the trees provide shelter from the sun. A very relaxing time.

While the building is rather old and creaky, the condo is nicely renovated with new appliances and a nice bathroom. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. We would stay here again!

Loved this place! Great views of the ocean from the deck. The place was very nice and very clean, with a very nice bed to sleep on. Loved all the special touches- such as a small bottle of dish soap, dishwasher tabs, coffee, and laundry detergent. This is not your typical beach.... the water recedes at low tide, which makes it possible to explore for wildlife. Although we didn't expect this, I loved seeing the crabs, fish, and sea life! Would definitely stay again!

The property overall is beautiful with great amenities and beach/sound access! The condo itself was the perfect size, very clean, and very comfortable for our 5 night stay. The water views were absolutely perfect! Would definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect little getaway for me and my husband. We were looking for a quiet, low-key place, and this was it. It was still close to shopping and restaurants, but offered a little slower pace than if you stayed closer to Coligny or in Sea Pines. The place was right on the Sound and offered up beautiful sunrises each morning.

Upon arrival to the building and the door to our condo, there was an overwhelming odor of must and mildew. It was around the window and door area. The overall cleanliness of the unit was great and there were no issues. It was well stocked and the perfect size foe the two of us. The balcony furniture was not comfy to me so i did not stay out there often. The view was great and the ease of access to the amenities on the property and to the beach are was amazing. Bird watching was great along the span of the beach. The tides ebb and flow each day created great opportunities to explore a variety of sea life. The property is located next door to Fish Haul Park and we heard hoot owls. I found a few small shark teeth our last day there. In addition to the bad mildew smell the building itself needs to be renovated. The floors leading to the unit are in desrepair and outdated. The property has many amenitiies to keep your family happy and busy.

I'll start with the positive: The view is really nice, as pictured. The place was also clean. Now for the bad: it is tiny, packed full of chairs that makes it feel even smaller, all the outlets on the wall for the bed don't work so you won't be able to charge your phone on the nightstands, there was no creamer, sugar, or sweetener for the coffee. Most importantly, you will hear every footstep and other movement upstairs. If you get lucky and there's nobody up there, or they rarely move, no big deal. If however, they are present, move when you are trying to sleep, and most especially, have a child, this condo will turn into your own private torture chamber. It was so maddeningly loud that we left a full day early and notified the host as such. They could care less other than to say it's too bad we didn't contact them sooner about the noise. There's absolutely nothing they could do about it because it was just a family moving around. It is a defect of the place. The least they could have done is reimburse us for the last day. Stay away from this place unless you like gambling with your sanity

Great stay. Note the front screen door needs repair and the master bedroom bed/mattress does not meet the expectations established by the rest of the unit. Please consider an upgrade.

The only concern with our stay was the parking situation, it was very frustrating coming back to our room and having to park multiple BUILDINGS away due to other tenants wanting a closer spot to the beach. Room numbers should coordinate with parking spots, and if two or more vehicles are driven then it should be come, first serve for the EXTRA vehicles.

The unit was clean and comfortable. The bed especially was very comfortable. The view was amazing! We spent a lot of time in the balcony enjoying the view. The location made it easy to get to island attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great room. Our only complaint is that the sofa is way too small for adults. Very narrow. And the chairs in the den couldn’t be arranged to watch TV. Other than that, it was an excellent experience

The beach was right there! I loved watching sunrises and sunsets daily. This has everything you'd need for a peaceful beach getaway. The host was so responsive and proactive. I think this may be a new holiday tradition!

The listing was perfect for my family of three (child 10). The complex was as pictured and the atmosphere as expected. Easy to find and easy check in process, the gate security attendants were very friendly and helpful. Close parking to the unit was hit or miss however, there was ample parking nearby and within short walking distance. The view was amazing and the weather was even better. We had a great time exploring the ocean and wildlife while soaking up the sun. The unit was very comfortable and had all the amenities we could need for a relaxing stay.

HAD TROUBLE WITH A DOOR LOCK HAD LOCAL MGMT OPEN DOOR LOCK THEN WAS LECTURED ON HOW INTERIOR DOOR LOCKS WORK !!LOCK WAS BROKEN PREVIOUSLYWASHER WAS NOT PERFORMING PROPERLYAS IT WAS SMALL ONLY ATTEMPTED TO WASH 3 TOWELS. Best view around. Would return again. No issues and no problems with community. Easy access and very private. Just what we were looking for. The low tides let you explore a lot of the ocean treasures.

The rental was amazing other than the washing machine was so loud it would almost hurt our ears. But what a wonderful spot on the island!

We loved being able to walk outside right to the beach and the condo’s location was right across from a great local grocery store. Security was super helpful and friendly and the grilling area was very clear and well stocked. I’d definitely return on our next trip.

The condo is comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated with a great use of space. The views of the Sound were just incredible with a beautiful view of the sunrise. The porch swings and hammocks around the property are also very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was very dirty in certain places in the room. The top of the bedroom nightstand was disgusting. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom still. The bed in the hallway had dirty sheets on the bed. It was full of hair and other dirt and sand. The room was very cute, offered plenty of space and comfort. Pool was not heated as mentioned. Outdoor pool was closed part of our time there and dirty with no net to clean it.putselves.

Upon first walking into this property I was surprised at how small it was. However, the size was just fine for just the two of us. The property was clean and well stocked with everything you need in a kitchen. It was a very quiet area of Hilton Head, and beach walks were somewhat limited. We found the beaches further south much more "beach walking friendly" but it is only a short drive, so it wasn't any big deal. I would certainly consider renting the property again.

We had a great time here. Quiet and not crowded on the beach. We did encounter some minor things that did not meet our expectations. The floors and baseboards were dirty. We had an invasion of flying ants through a gap in the French doors. We had to purchase Raid to eliminate them. The location and beach were wonderful and we had a fabulous vacation in spite of these issues. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing time at Hilton Head!

Staying in unit 1204 exceeded expectations. It is one of the few direct oceanfront condos with gorgeous and relaxing views. The condo property is meticulously well-kept (more than I expected). This part of the beach is quiet and peaceful which was what we were looking for. The size of the condo is perfect for a couple. Unit was clean and had supplies we needed. Would recommend!

I have stayed at the Spa On Port Royal Sound a number of times, and have been very satisfied, but this was the first time my husband and I stayed in a 1 bedroom. I would never do this again. The bedroom in this unit was extremely small, dark, and depressing, and the bed was difficult to maneuver around. There was no window to open for fresh air. The bottom sheet kept coming untucked and slid around because there was no mattress pad to help keep it secure - very unhygienic. (and gross). The balcony has no screens so the door could not be left open because of no see ums. I could continue, but that's enough. We left early, and I would not stay in this unit again.
