Oceanfront Sunrises on Mitchelville Beach

Our room was small but enough room for 2... A beautiful view from the little balcony - the Sound is gorgeous, the sand was great for walking, ... perfect.The Neg: Too many pillows which took up so much room(& I love pillows but, just way too many). The bathroom may have been wiped down but could have used a good 'cleaning'. I truly think the Only problem in this little home away from home is the furniture. We just decided the day prior to take a trip, didn't read all of the reviews until we had booked and were on the road... The owners really need to spend a night here and sit for a full night's worth of tv on the furniture ... it truly needs to be replaced. I am only 4'11" and the chairs and the chais lounge/couch/pull out is just way too small and very uncomfortable. You feel the metal bars for the pull out when sitting on this couch. My husband is 6'2" and was quite uncomfortable after we settled in for the night . Please, change this furniture. Weird, the pieces are so small but take up a lot of room (which there just isn't a whole lot of). Otherwise, the place is SWEET!! I would love to return. One thing I loved was sitting on the porch watching the birds... A hawk sat having dinner in a branch right above me and about 15 ft away. We watched each other for about 30 min., the Cardinals are beautiful. The taking care of the cats is very special. Thank you for having us - this is a nice, peaceful place. The water, the sand, the other guests - Happy to be part of it all.

Great, well stocked condo with one of the best views in the entire complex....perfect for a couple or a solo traveler. Would definitely stay here again. Second floor unit....stairs required, in case that's an issue.

We absolutely loved the location. It was very peaceful. My husband and I were disappointed in the comfort of the furniture. It was very uncomfortable to sit on for any period of time.

The beach was right there! I loved watching sunrises and sunsets daily. This has everything you'd need for a peaceful beach getaway. The host was so responsive and proactive. I think this may be a new holiday tradition!

Great room. Our only complaint is that the sofa is way too small for adults. Very narrow. And the chairs in the den couldn’t be arranged to watch TV. Other than that, it was an excellent experience

HAD TROUBLE WITH A DOOR LOCK HAD LOCAL MGMT OPEN DOOR LOCK THEN WAS LECTURED ON HOW INTERIOR DOOR LOCKS WORK !!LOCK WAS BROKEN PREVIOUSLYWASHER WAS NOT PERFORMING PROPERLYAS IT WAS SMALL ONLY ATTEMPTED TO WASH 3 TOWELS. Best view around. Would return again. No issues and no problems with community. Easy access and very private. Just what we were looking for. The low tides let you explore a lot of the ocean treasures.

We loved being able to walk outside right to the beach and the condo’s location was right across from a great local grocery store. Security was super helpful and friendly and the grilling area was very clear and well stocked. I’d definitely return on our next trip.

The listing was perfect for my family of three (child 10). The complex was as pictured and the atmosphere as expected. Easy to find and easy check in process, the gate security attendants were very friendly and helpful. Close parking to the unit was hit or miss however, there was ample parking nearby and within short walking distance. The view was amazing and the weather was even better. We had a great time exploring the ocean and wildlife while soaking up the sun. The unit was very comfortable and had all the amenities we could need for a relaxing stay.

It was very dirty in certain places in the room. The top of the bedroom nightstand was disgusting. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom still. The bed in the hallway had dirty sheets on the bed. It was full of hair and other dirt and sand. The room was very cute, offered plenty of space and comfort. Pool was not heated as mentioned. Outdoor pool was closed part of our time there and dirty with no net to clean it.putselves.

This property needs lots of work done to it The cost of what we spent on this property was way out of line for what we got No access to the pool inside because it was growing stuff on the side of the pool if you’re gonna charge people this kind of money then all the amenities should work properly hot tub. The jets were broken.

Upon first walking into this property I was surprised at how small it was. However, the size was just fine for just the two of us. The property was clean and well stocked with everything you need in a kitchen. It was a very quiet area of Hilton Head, and beach walks were somewhat limited. We found the beaches further south much more "beach walking friendly" but it is only a short drive, so it wasn't any big deal. I would certainly consider renting the property again.

I went to HHI for work and rented the unit mainly for myself. Work was cut short so my husband joined me for a little vacation. The unit was perfect for me and was just as great for my husband and I together. Will rent again!! Very clean and easy to communicate with the property manager!

The unit was clean and comfortable. The bed especially was very comfortable. The view was amazing! We spent a lot of time in the balcony enjoying the view. The location made it easy to get to island attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time! The space is small but the perfect size for two. If you’re staying for more than a couple days, bring your own amenities (soap, toilet paper, etc), but the included beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon were nice and the view couldn’t be any more beautiful. All the way on the north end of the island so a bit of a drive to the “typical” Hilton Head spots, but there’s still so much to see and do and we loved the peaceful, secluded spot. The complex is definitely a little older, but the unit seems recently renovated and was very clean. A bit hard to keep the temperature consistent, but that’s to be expected in a beach house. Thank you!!!

From check-in to checkout, experience was great. Host was quick to respond to questions and very informative. Place was cozy, easy to find, quiet, very clean and well stocked with some essentials. The view was absolutely stunning and it was great having the beach just steps away. Absolutely recommend and cannot wait to re-book another stay. Never disappoints, this is our second year. Children love the pools and I love the calm peaceful serenity of the place. Furniture a tad uncomfortable but suitable. Very nice place with a great view.

The only concern with our stay was the parking situation, it was very frustrating coming back to our room and having to park multiple BUILDINGS away due to other tenants wanting a closer spot to the beach. Room numbers should coordinate with parking spots, and if two or more vehicles are driven then it should be come, first serve for the EXTRA vehicles.

Place was fairly clean but needed some extra cleaning as far as the deck, window (cobwebs) and the floor. Furniture not comfortable and would have loved a screen door to the deck so you can hear the ocean from the inside. The entire building complex was very run down and definatly in need of updating. The place is small for more than 2 people. We were very disappointed with the beach, the pictures show plenty of places to sit but in person there was a ton of debris from the ocean on the beach limiting the space available to comfortably relax in a beach chair, let alone a towel. There is a feral cat sanctuary next to the property so there are cats everywhere. On the positive side, we were able to watch the sun rise every morning.

We enjoyed a great stay on Hilton Head Island. The facility was older, but the room was very nice. It was located in a quiet gated property not far from the airport. They do not allow e-bike on the property. The beach nearby was on an ocean sound not on the actual ocean. The bathroom was small but very nice. We didn't do any cooking but it he kitchen has a large frig and seemed well equipped.

This host made our first trip to HHI very enjoyable. The view from the balcony is serene and peaceful. We were able to watch the sunrise from the dock which was a few steps from our door. The condo is clean and decorated so cute and beachy. There were two of us and it was perfect! Great place and highly recommend!

Even though the unit was small it was well designed and cozy. Our only disappointment was there were no screens on the doors or windows. This meant that we couldn’t hear the surf or have fresh air breezes. So the lovely view was not accompanied with natural sounds and fresh air.

Great location, right on the beach. Very,, very small, but cute. Twin bed in hallway is extremely narrow. Queen bed is comfy. Sofa is a pullout, and not very comfortable for TV watching. Good task lighting which I appreciate for reading in bed and in the living room. Well stocked kitchen. The functionality of the TV in the living room was hit or miss. We saw evidence of a rodent droppings behind the furniture and reported it. The response was that there has never been an issue in any of the villas. Regardless, a few days later we saw the rat scurry under the dishwasher. That definitely put a damper on our stay.

This property was amazing! Second floors,perfect view to watch the sunrise and the water. A walk to the beach with lots of wildlife. A bald eagle comes every morning. The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable! One thing that needs to be added to the property listing is that you have to pay to get at pass. I hate to feel like I’m being nickel and dimed.

Great stay. Note the front screen door needs repair and the master bedroom bed/mattress does not meet the expectations established by the rest of the unit. Please consider an upgrade.
