Private Dock Pool Beach Access Nearby

This house was perfect for our family vacation! It was in a great location, close to the beach and other amenities Palmetto Dunes had to offer! Carolina Coast was extremely helpful during our stay and was quick to assist us while locked out of the house during an afternoon thunderstorm. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big family!

Everything was as expected with the property. House is well kept in a great location in Palmetto Dunes. 7 guys stayed comfortably. You're a short walk to the beach and bike ride to the Palmetto circle. Pool was heated during our Oct stay. Come prepared with extra trash bags and paper towels. The bikes in the photos are locked up for the owner's use only - two left for guests that have broken chains. You will need to rent your own.

Very nice house and pool. Beach chairs, wagon, ping pong table, foosball and chess table were all available. Hike to beach was about 1/2 mile but free shuttle made it easy. We all enjoyed the quiet back yard with pool and access to lagoon. Not very well stocked for facial tissues, paper towels, dishwashing detergent and TP. Bikes and beach toys were fun. Communication with CC was easy and immediate. Nine of us and we all enjoyed it.

Fantastic home in a gated community on a quiet street. The house was clean and looked to be recently renovated. The pool is bigger in person then what the pictures show. Quick 5 minute bike ride to the beach and we loved the dock on the lagoon. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and stay here again!

This property was absolutely the BEST for our 9 family members! The layout is wonderful! A lovely kitchen and great room with lots of windows looking out on the pool! Each bedroom has its own bathroom! The bedroom above the garage was perfect for two of us! We loved the short ride to the beach and of course having our own pool! I highly recommend this property!

Our Family enjoyed the property, location was great! And the communication with the property Manager for excellent. We had a few issues during our stay, but the Manager worked with us to try and resolve each issue. The listing was spot on with sleeping arrangements, pictures are accurate the and the owners have a beautiful home. Overall, the two items to note: the dishwasher did not work, and pool heat did not work. We have rented places on HHI in the past (December), where the temps at night dipped into the 30’s-40’s and pool heater kept up with a nice warm pool to enjoy. My lesson learned from this, ask exactly what type of heat the home has? And if the property owner/manager does not know…I may skip it and move onto the next rental. In this case you must need a propane heater, not a heat pump. Anyway, the property manager did work with us, refunded us our money, etc. That is all great, but did not provide us the opportunity to use said pool during our vacation.

This beautiful home was fully equipped and immaculately kept. This location in Palmetto Dunes was perfect and an easy walk or bike ride to everything. Our only regret was leaving too soon. Would love to stay here again.

Went with three other guys for a three day golf trip. Great location....house was exactly what we needed. The freezer ice maker wasn't working but we just bought our own ice. Wasn't even worth reporting to management. Would stay here again and already decided that may be the plan next year. Heated pool in mid to late April was worth the extra $$ as we used it after golf and at night too. Didn't even know there was a ping pong table in the garage so that was a nice surprise and made use of that too.

House was very clean with spacious living quarters. Pool area had ample seating with direct sun for the better part of the day. It was nice to see an extra full grill tank on the premises. The garage had a ping pong table and many beach accessories including a beach wagon. We will rent this house again.

The house was amazing. We really enjoyed the patio and pool area and made a new friend in Lyle the alligator in our lagoon. (Our college dorm name!😀) Palmetto Dunes is beautiful with walking/ biking trails and a shuttle service to get you around. Our only suggestions: new mattresses on the 2 sleeper sofas and twin bed and a larger. Thanks so much! We are planning to return next year!

We loved just about everything. Great kitchen, patio, pool and primary bedroom suite. We recommend renting the bikes right away from the Outfitters as you enter Palmetto Dunes! The check in location was a bit unusual but directions were pretty clear. We enjoyed the golf courses and Safari Dolphin Sunset Cruise. Kroger was very convenient. Loved the beach access and riding bikes on the beach.

Pool pump was not working. Water was dirty and kids didn’t swim in it. For most of our stay the pool was not usable which put a damper on our stay.

We came together from Atlanta, New Jersey and Wash DC in memory of a family member who recently passed this January. We relaxed, enjoyed the lovey home/pool and had plenty of room to spread out. The house is lovely. We spent more time in the home then expected but it was to get together and enjoy the memories. Pool was so refreshing. Deer in backyard early mornings. Fish were literally jumping in the lake. Pool maintenance was on point. Only suggestion, mildew order in over garage bedroom needs addressing. Not very strong, but noticeable. Will come again. Thanks

The property was beautiful. The only problem was we couldn’t use the pool for much of the time we were there. The water was very green and got worse every day. The pool people were trying to get it clear but they were unable to. We mostly rented the property because it had a pool. Everything else was wonderful. We fished off the little dock and caught a few really nice fish.

Nice home on quiet street away from plantation hub but close enough for convenience. Home is large with private backyard and a nice 15 minute walk to beautiful beach that is not crowded. Home is older but in good condition and has everything you need, bikes, beach chairs, towels, ping pong table and plenty of space for a large family including a pool.

The house was clean, spacious and had a great back yard and pool. The beds were very comfortable with each bedroom having a private bathroom. I would highly recommend this house if you have a large group visiting Hilton Head.

This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful; clean house, spacious, perfect proximity to the beach. The backyard was beautiful and the pool was perfect. My only recommendation is that you bring bug spray and citronella candles because the bugs will bite you.

This house is beautiful! We had such a great family vacation spending our mornings at the beach and our afternoons floating in the pool. I enjoyed my coffee in the morning overlooking the lagoon in the back. Highly recommend!

This property had everything we needed and more. The check in process and communication with the property manager/cleaning staff was excellent. There were a few areas on the property showing a little wear but nothing that wasn’t normal. The pool was great and we were happy to see it cleaned/maintained throughout our stay. Quick bike ride or 15 minute walk to beautiful beaches. The air conditioning worked great too! Highly recommend this property.

Other than the property management company completely ignoring our requests for simple fixes we had an excellent time as we always do in HHI! Just couldn’t see to do our laundry in the laundry room due to a burnt out light and the cable not working in the master bedroom…… we had an excellent time at the beach, parasailing, shopping, eating the best seafood ever and just relaxing! House is super close to the beach and I would have brought the kiddos their fishing poles if I would’ve known there was a waterway right behind the home. But overall, a great time in HHI. We will be back next year!

The home was in a great location, but has a rodent problem as well as a lot of cockroaches. The management company tried to help, but this won’t be fixed in a day or two. Each day we woke up to new feces on the counters, bathrooms, and in the master. At night you can here them scratching in the walls behind the kitchen stove. Most upset the owner did nothing to reach out and apologize or anything. We paid good money and unfortunately did not have a comforting stay. I did try to reach the owner again after our stay, and no response.

Our family had an amazing time staying at 40 Full Sweep. Waking up to swim in the private pool and an afternoon at the beach made for a perfect day. Our kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and catching several fish in the lagoon. The property also had several bikes for renters to use.

My husband and our family stayed this past week. Got married in HHI over the weekend. Loved the house and everything about it! Couldn't get the jets to work on the tub but other than that, we were very happy with our stay! Thanks for making our wedding week home, spectacular!

My family and I had a great experience here. The neighborhood is beautiful and in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The beach was about a 20 minute walk. The interior was nicely updated and created a lovely backdrop for family vacation pictures. The manager was very responsive.

This house truly felt like a home away from home. The house was immaculate and beautifully designed and appointed. The location was superb. Only a few minutes to the beach by bike or foot. The biking is a must do there. We enjoyed biking to the general store for ice cream. The kids has a blast in the pool and fishing in the lagoon. The outdoor seating areas were well thought out. The convenience of restaurants, groceries, etc. was wonderful. The grounds of Palmetto Dunes is pristine. There is so much to do. One week wasn't nearly long enough to explore everything. The property manager was alway quick to to respond and happy to help in anyway. This home provided an atmosphere of comfort and luxury all in one. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This home was perfect for our group of 3 couples and 3 twenty-somethings. All bedrooms have their own full bathroom, beds are very comfortable and rooms are private. The setting was perfect, and we loved having the dock for fishing. We had bikes delivered and enjoyed riding them through the community. Would definitely stay at 40 Full Sweep again!

House had enough wiggle room for the 7 adults who stayed there as well as all the local family who visited during the day and for meals. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates/silverware for our meals for 15 people. And we could easily get 3-4 people in the kitchen prepping at once. Plenty of bath linens but wish there were beach/pool towels. Loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom and the half bath was great for visitors. Recommendations: have hand soap at sinks, enough bath soap/shampoo, dish soap, and paper towels for a 5 night stay. Some of the bikes were broken or locked, so not able to use. Bob J with the rental company was very accommodating and helpful with check in and passes. Regardless of constructive feedback, our experience was excellent and we would rent this home again.

What a perfect extended family getaway especially with small children! We loved the accessibility to the pool in the backyard, easy walk/bike ride to the beach and the neighborhood was beautiful! It had EVERYTHING we needed and we are already talking about our next trip here!
