Steps to the Sand Private Direct Beach Access Home

This is a fantastic beach house in an ideal location in Hilton Head. The amenities were great, the hosts were responsive, and the house was as advertised. It is also a 30 second walk to the beach, with private beach access. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking a great beach house in Hilton Head!

Wonderful house! Centrally located on the island. Within walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants in Coligny, but also easy to drive to other attractions because of the location. House was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was private and peaceful, and just a few steps to the beach. Overall we had such a fantastic week at the house!

The private beach access and wonderful, shaded porch really made the stay. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of living space for everyone to either spend time together or step away for quiet time.

Great location! Loved the private beach, and the mile walk to Coligny Shops. House was laid out nicely and had everything we needed. The wagon and pool chairs were much appreciated.

Great value! Location close to great North Forest Beach with private access for quiet morning and late afternoon walks on the pristine beach. We enjoyed spotting dolphins, Pelicans, horseshoe crabs, etc, daily. Loved the large deck with grill and comfortable furniture. Spent many hours with family enjoying drinks and conversation in the shade of the trees. The garage was ample for 2 midsize SUVs (Hyundai Santa Fe and VW Atlas) probably could have fit one more smallish car if necessary. Rented bikes were able to be stored securely in the garage, corn hole, ping pong, and some other beach toys were available. Beach wagon with chairs was a great help. Only thing missing was an umbrella, there was a beach canopy but it was a bit cumbersome. We utilized the kitchen which had all the necessary silverware, glasses, pots, pans, etc. (there weren't any ziploc storage bags, plastic wrap, storage containers, oil, or salt- so plan accordingly) some Airbnbs provide these basics--not a problem....just FYI... We were a party of 7 adults and we had plenty of room to hang out or spread out as necessary. Master sweet was enormous with an attached large windowed porch with sofa a large walk in closet and bath. Overall a great vacation spot.

Had a truly great beach vacation (private access gate to beach is 20 feet from front door) here with family, children and a toddler. House was very comfortable, all the amenities we needed, clean, beds in great shape, lots of space, fun part of the island. Will definitely be back.

Great stay. Plenty of room for family to spread out and have own private space and bathrooms. Easy access and walkable distance to beach. Appreciated the wagon and beach chairs provided. Would stay here again!

This property is ideally located for spending time on the beach and getting to Coligny Plaza for food and drinks. The beach cooler, chairs, and wagon made getting to the beach extremely easy. The property owner provided wonderful communication prior to our rental. I will definitely stay at this property again!

The house was dirty and needed repairs. The table bench had a line of sand on it. It really needs a deep cleaning. Not sure the blankets and bedspreads were even clean. One of the bedrooms was extremely warm. Upon investigation, the corner of the window wasn't even in the sill. The lights flickered in one of the bathrooms. The coffee pot was an accident waiting to happen. The toaster burnt the bread and started smoking. One of the blankets had holes. The pull out couch was broken. There wasn't any extra blankets. There was not a beach view. But it did have beach access and it was quiet. Very disappointing.

We got this house for the groomsmen and the groom to stay for a wedding on the island. It was perfect! The short walk to the beach made for an unforgettable night before the wedding! We only wish we could have checked-in sooner, but understand the cleaning and turn-over. Thanks so much!

Property was as advertised. Amazing proximity to the beach. Spacious with great outdoor deck space. Sent the property owners a few pointers on how to improve the space for future guests, and this advice was accepted. None of the suggestions that I made were about anything that actually negatively impacted the stay. I would recommend this property to anybody I know. We felt the price was fair.

More attention should be paid to details when cleaning the house (dust, edges, corners). Also, construction on the house across the street every weekday (noise, workers parked in the street and blocking the garage). Beach is gated, but has heavy foot and bike traffic from the hotel on the left.

We enjoyed our stay here, location was just perfect especially for a private home literally 1 house down from the beach and a short walk to coligny. The property management team was very responsive and helpful. Would def revisit.

The house was clean, well stocked with towels, sheets and everything needed in the kitchen.Also the closeness to the beach is great.If i can make a few suggestions I would replace the tile in the main bathroom which is cracked, replace the lights on the deck.I would still recommend this home to anyone looking for a great location.

Had some issues. One of the pullout couches was broken and an inflatable mattress was substituted. This was not clean when we got it out of the closet. The second pullout had dead bugs when it was opened and only a fitted sheet that was a few shades of off white. Don't think it had been changed as we spotted at least the one silverfish. Not an ideal rental. Otherwise, first floor and kitchen were clean.

Such an amazing location your steps to the beach, plenty of parking we had 1 large suv and one mid size suv and a sedan and we all fit in the garage with plenty of room left over. Check in was a breeze. Everything we needed was provided, plates, pans silverware, beach towels, beach chairs (could use new ones some were broken and some rusted beyond use) but most of them were still great! There were two wagons that were super helpful to bring everything to the beach as well. The only down side was that there appeared to be mold or maybe mildew I'm not sure in some areas of the house which I did mention to the management and they told me it was most likely mildew due to excessive rain so I provided pictures and they seemed appreciative of feedback, they were also very quick to respond to any and all questions I had during the stay which was great. Overall great stay quiet location, plenty of space, short drive to all the spots we wanted to see.

Location, beach accessible, roomy Home were all great. Beds comfy. The house needs serious attention. Ceilings are showing mold. The kitchen trash can was completely broken. I left it out for staff to throw out. I hope they did. Most of the beach chairs were broken. The deck needs serious attention. The awnings need power washed. For the price, serious rehab needs to be done.
