Easy check in. Beautiful view, great location. The info packet was a big help for our first time to the island. The balcony was a great place to sit while taking a break from the beach. Ac was a little louder than expected. Wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this unit. It’s in a great location in South Forest beach. It’s on 3rd floor or 48 steps up. There is also an elevator in middle of building. The unit has been updated and is bright and inviting. The one thing we didn’t like is the small, very uncomfortable Wayfair couch. Would rather have an older, larger, comfortable place to sit. If you’re there for a week and are outside the whole time, not a problem, but we were there a few weeks. All in all, we would stay here again- :)

Great location, with beach access and pool. We loved the view from the balcony and would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Some of the other reviews mentioned the air didn’t keep the bedroom cool enough, but we thought it did just fine. We appreciated the provided beach towels, chairs and cart to tote it all to the beach. It would have been even better if an umbrella was also included but we were able to rent one nearby for the week.

My family (spouse & 2 kids) stayed here for 9 days. We really enjoyed our stay. Pros: GREAT location! Walking distance to Coligny. BEAUTIFUL views of beach. Unit is top floor (3rd) left corner, can see the whole beach! Easy entry to unit during checkin. Communication was very responsive. Our smoke detector started beeping one evening and the guy arrived within 10-15 minutes to change the battery. Bed was pretty comfortable. Cons: Unit was a little small for our family- would recommend for a couple or maybe a family of 3. On checkin day, there was a very strong smell in the unit. I thought it was a scentsy type product, we called the office and they recommended we open the doors to air the place out. When that didn’t work, I water mopped the floor with a towel - that worked! Whatever the floors were mopped with was causing the strong odor! Lastly, the kitchen does have pots for the stove, but no bakeware. We reheated leftover pizza in the box. Also the Kuerig is difficult. It leaked any extra water in the reservoir all over the counter. There is a regular coffee maker, too. Use that. Overall we were happy with the unit. Love the area. We will return to Seaside Villas, but will choose a unit that suits the needs of our family better.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this condo. And we stayed for 10 days. We’ve been coming to HHI for about 12 years and have always stayed at Seaside Villas, just in different units. We paid a bit more this time to get the end unit with a fantastic view. There are many pros and a few cons about this unit so I’ll list them below. Pros….. -The view! For sure the best part of staying here. -Communication with the owners was easy and we only had to call once about a small thing. The unit was ready early, so they texted that we could go on in (which we greatly appreciated ), but the door code wouldn’t work because it was a little before the usual 4:00 check in. One call fixed that issue. -The bed was pretty comfortable and there was enough closet and storage space for our clothes. -The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and all appliances worked well. There was also adequate storage for our food in the kitchen. -Four beach towels were provided along with chairs and an umbrella. Cons…. -There was a very strong disinfectant/cleaner smell when we first arrived. As someone who suffers from migraines and occasional asthma….it was bad! -The bathroom had very limited storage or shelving for makeup, hairdryer, etc. There was a lot of unused space behind the door and above the toilet that would have been perfect for shelving storage options. And over the door hooks for towels would have helped. -The ‘living room’ furniture was all very uncomfortable.

This place was beautiful from top to bottom! As soon as you open the door you see the view of the ocean. The room Itself was exceptionally clean, all newly renovated, perfectly set up and that VIEW!! It can’t be beat! Beautiful floors, comfortable KING size bed, amazing spacious shower, and nice flatscreen tvs. Drinking coffee on the patio every morning with the ocean front view watching the sunrise with the sound of the ocean was perfect! We had one small incident with our patio door handle. I reached out to the owners and to my surprise they messaged me back within 5 minutes! I told them what happened and they acted immediately!! The handle was fixed in a couple of hours. From the room, to the view, and to the helpful owners this place gets 5 stars!! We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years now and I can say without a doubt this is the best place to stay! We will definitely be staying here as many times as we can!

This VRBO was perfect for our honeymoon. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, with easy access to the beach. We also lots of amenities in the kitchen, and extra beach gear which was very helpful. We loved every minute of our stay!

Over all we had a great time, 2 things bugged us, grout in the bathroom floor needed a serious cleaning, and the gate code to get back into the complex never worked and I had to jump the fence or wait for someone going out to let us in. Great balcony views day and night. Definitely come back..😊

We enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was clean and fresh upon arrival. The bed was comfortable but the living and dining room furniture were not. They were new and stylish, but like most Home Goods/Wayfair furniture, a bit stiff and hard. We would have liked more towels for an 8 night stay, but we made it work. All in all, it was fine, but a bit high priced in comparison to other villas.

Great views of the beach from the balcony and inside the unit. You can semi see the sunrise from the balcony at this time of year, but for full spectacular view highly recommend walking down to the beach. Bed very comfortable, living area furniture not so much, but ok. Bathroom adequate but could definitely use an update. AC worked great (is not central though, definitely fine for most as is, but we always bring a small fan to circulate the air to the sleeping area at night). 100% walkable to the many restaurants / shops at Coligny plaza. (It is a 12 - 15 minute walk, but you are mostly in the shade, and way better and actually faster than trying to find a parking spot at Coligny). Would definitely stay here again, perfect for a couple.

We love the spot and it had so many positives. My only question is that it’s listed as a “penthouse”. I realize that used to mean the top floor property, but when you read “penthouse” you expect an extremely high end property. The a/c is in the living room far from the bedroom so the bedroom was very warm. We bought fans at Walmart to compensate. The bathroom had duct tape holding a cabinet shut, an inexpensive shower curtain, and a rod that looked like it was from a kids camp. We loved it, we enjoyed it, but it really wasn’t a “penthouse” in our estimation.

Balcony views were beautiful. Easy walk to the beach. Great area for walking. Close proximity to many restaurants. Kitchen is functional, but sparsely stocked for those intending to cook - we tend to cook often due to food allergies. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Pros: the view, attractive decor, cleanliness, welcome amenities and extra beach towels from management company, K-Cup coffeemaker, doormat for sand, ceiling fans, nice amount of storage, walk in shower. Found coffee filters under the sink Areas for improvement: old-school scratched Teflon cookware is a health risk, unit doors are very old (either pressboard or foam core) and are disintegrating, Touch-up areas on bathroom walls need to be sanded and painted. *Lack of communication from maintenance personnel! I slept in one day, waking up to a knock on the door quickly followed by a man trying to open the door with a key. He did not announce who he was, or the company he worked for, and kept trying to open the door while he talked to another person outside. I am a solo woman traveler, so thankfully had an extra security lock on the door. When I asked what he needed, he said he was there to do the routine soft wash on the porch and needed to come in. I refused. Next morning it was the same routine, but this time to spray for bugs. The 3rd day a long handled scrub brush appeared over the porch railing, spraying water on windows and furniture. Thankfully I did not have the sliding door open and was not sitting outside! NEVER did I receive any email, text, or see any printed notices posted in stairwells, elevators, or on my unit door that maintenance would require entry to the rental for three consecutive days. Very disruptive!

This unit does not have central AC and the box does not really keep the condo cool. We purchased a fan to help get the AC air to the bedroom area. The unit is also right next to the patio's table so when the AC is running you get all of the hot air blowing off of it. The patio also only has folding chairs on it other than the ones shown in pictures. The oven wasn't operable either, but we didn't need that during our stay. We utilized the unit's beach chairs, but bought an umbrella of our own as you can rent the ones in front of the condo from 0900-1700 for $20.00/day. The shower was not cleaned well, ,my fiance scrubbed it prior to us using it. Under the bed was also disgusting, we checked under it on our last morning to ensure we hadn't had anything roll under the bed. The one set of closet doors is broke and wouldn't really stay closed. The view was beautiful and we got to see the deer almost every day.

Seaside Villas is a great location to spend time at HHI. Very convenient to shops, groceries, and restaurants and beach access is great. We enjoyed our stay in this oceanfront condo this time around. Everything was as shown in the rental pictures, a very nice space. And the view is great!! It would be an added benefit to have a couple of patio chairs on the balcony in addition to the stools/built in table top for those of us who enjoy spending a lot of time out there. We did notice ahead of time that there were none in the pictures so we took two camp chairs. The oven was not working when we were there but a toaster oven was sufficient for our shorter stay this time…it would have been good to have gotten a heads up on that before arrival since we stopped for groceries on the way in. Would definitely rent this condo again!

The property is so cute. We really enjoyed to atmosphere. You can see the ocean from the room and that is a huge plus. It is not a far walk to the beach at all. The condo seemed a little smaller than expected but perfect for two. Can't wait to go back.

The location is wonderful. Beautiful views of the ocean. The building is dated and needs some updates. There is no elevator. This unit is on the 3rd level. Also the air conditioning unit is very loud on the terrace our back and very hot as it runs a lot. Blows direct hot air onto the terrace where you sit. Loud and hot. Overall the unit is very convenient location wise with a beautiful view. Those two things I mentioned are the biggest downfalls to this unit. Needs some updating.

We loved the place. It had a great king bed and an amazing view. The living room was nice with a comfy couch. We would come back. The only reason we didn’t give it a 5 is that the oven was broken. It had been reported previously broken on reviews a month ago and I don’t understand why the rental company didn’t tell us before we arrived. An oven is important to us and I had picked this place for the view and the oven. The shutter in the hallway to the front door is also not secured and we had major wind one night so the shutter banged all night. The place has a leur if but no coffee maker so just bring pods. The kitchen could be better equipped. Again, if the oven was fixed, we would had given it a 5 :-)

We had a great time in a wonderful place. The perfect location to watch the sunrise from the balcony and enjoy an amazing view. The two times we had issues (internet went out once and the whole building had an issue with no water) a quick call to the number in the book took care of it right away. We are very pleased and can’t wait to come back again.
